I’m unsure what therapy I need, or I’m nervous to make a first appointment with a therapy I don’t know much about. What should I do?

First learn more about the therapy you are considering and research the training of the person associated with our Centre to learn more about them. Most therapists provide free consultations that allow you to meet one-on-one, or at the very least you can discuss this over the phone prior to making any commitment to an appointment. After such a meeting you should feel comfortable with the therapist, and you never need to feel obligated to make an appointment afterwards if it doesn’t feel right for you.
